In the late fifties/early sixties I was a kid and went to the movies with my parents in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. The movie was about 2 brothers and was filmed on the beach. The older brother fooled the youngest, called Milou. The older brother had a bottle of tomato ketchup under his shirt and had Milou stab him. When the ketchup showed Milou thought he killed his brother and he fled. The older one tried to tell him he was okay but he could not find the little one.
What I mostly remembered is the older one calling out the name of the little boy on beach...Milou!!! As a child I was really impressed and sad. Now I am 61 and still think about this movie. Can anyone tell me the title of this movie?? Thanks in advance.
