i saw this movie on TV late 50s or 60s. A woman is married to a teacher. They live in a cottage atop a hill overlooking the ocean. One of the husbands students becomes close the the couple. Evidently, the wife has a brain tumor or such that she is gradually loosing her sight and is slowly dying. The student figures it out and he is with her that last day. The husband is at school as she has not told him of her illness.
For years I have been searching for this movie. I wasn't sure if the female was played by Susan Hayward or someone else.
If anyone can help I'd appreciate it very much!
