Not sure of the time period but there was a widowed woman who goes to live with her sister and husband (brother in law). The sister wants her husband to sleep with his sister in law so that she can have a child. They might have fallen in love but I'm not sure. I think I remember the husband being reluctant to follow through with his wife's request and I believe they were in a very remote area.
