This was an American period drama shown in late 70s or early to mid 80s. It was about religious parents whose daughter fell in love with I think a musician. They had a baby daughter but the parents told their daughter her child had died. The story ends with the great grand daughter finding her grandmother as she has a matching locket. It is a sad mini series with some lovely saxophone music in dance halls.
