I am looking for a French (maybe?) movie. It takes place in the 18th century. Two young girls get send to a sort of boarding school. They seem to be poor, and are educated along with a large group of girls who are all sponsored by a rich woman (queen?). The girls grow up, act in a play, and flirt with some aristocratic visitors who seem to be coming to the school to find wives or mistresses. I think the revolution happens next, and the school becomes sort of a convent and all the girls are made to confess their sins. It ends with one of the girls running away.
