Hi, i am looking for the name of a period drama i think set in either the 1700s or 1800s, i really dont know. all i remember is watching it as a child but never really interested in it. i remember it being set probably in ireland or britain and old british soldiers in their uniform with rifles over their shoulder with the bayonet at the end. the uniform was the old red and white one. i am looking for the theme tune to it and i think the theme tune was remixed in the last ten years by a famous dance dj. any help would be appreciated.
it was a series in the early to mid 80s i think on irish tv (RTE1 or RTE2)
