Hi,
There was a 1940s or 50s movie about a single mother and son. The son plays piano, and is kind of a geek and is bullied in the neighborhood. He gets in trouble when he fights back. The mom is an alcoholic. There is an old alcoholic former lawyer in the neighborhood who loves the mom and looks after the kid, along with other Skid Row types. The kid is kind of adopted by a rich family and the kid falls in love with the daughter. Please help!
