Title Help

I'm looking for the title of a film, either late 1950's or early 1960's where a blonde woman steals money from a guy she's spent the night with in a hotel after finding it under the mattress.The money is from a bank robbery. She sneaks out and later is followed by a police officer who is watching her movements. She then sells her car and buys a different one to fool the police officer and escapes.
Can anyone help pls? I thought the thief may have been Robert Webber?
