B/W film possibly set around 1930; young woman appears with a baby carriage at the door of the home of a wealthy man who she says is the father of the child she just had and she is looking for financial help. The man and his family turn her away but the man's young sister gives the woman a special clock, perhaps an heirloom before she leaves. Years later the baby - now a grown woman - returns to the home looking for answers and though the man's mother tries to turn her away, the young sister recognizes the clock and remembers giving it to her.
