it is a very old movie but is in colour. there is a teen boy and girl the girl I'm sure of has blonde hair. they meet each other when they are both on vacation with their families. they fall in love but the girls mum is very harsh and bans her from seeing him again. the girl gets sent off to a boarding school. but the girls dad runs off with the boys mother and live in a beachy area. so it is awkward for the girl and boy at first because the girls dad and the boys mother are together.
