Watched this movie years years back. It might have been a mini series or just 2/3 parts. Anyway story as i remember it was either just before WWI or WWII a high socity man deeply inlove with his wife and vise versa and she gives birth to i think a boy and a girl. When war breaks out he goes off to fight and their house gets ocupied by the germans yet the family stay strong. The daughter dies and the son was very close to her. The husband dies in war and wen the war ends the germans leaves so they story focuses on her struggle. She then falls in love with another man who the son hates and they get married and when the son is about to go off to college is told his mom is pregnant n
And hes not happy about that.
