Title Help

In reply to:

■Hi, please if you can help, I have been trying very hard to remember a title for 20 years now. I watched it in grade school every morning in class, so I'm asuming it was a mini series. I watched it between the years of 1978 to 1984, it could have possibly aired before that in England, as I was watching it in Canada at that time.

It is a period drama set in England possibly London in the late 1800's or early 1900's. What I can remember is maybe two or three children living in a manor or castle estate, having lessons by a tutor. There is something to do with a factory that maybe the lord of the manor may own. A carpet factoy with children working in incredibly dangerous conditions. With a huge carpet press and the children workers had to quickly roll the carpet out before the press came down again. I remember them saying there had been injuries.

The children of the manor also leave the manor frequently, and I believe thay venture into the underground cannals and sewer systems. There are many various characters and a long plot.

I really hope this jogs someones memory.

Thank you Jacki
