I'm looking for the title of a movie made for tv (I think) around 80's.
Set in Laos. Communist government. American journalist while staying in the country doing his job fell in love with native woman who fell for him in return. But the General who controls the country wants the woman for himself. They escaped by swimming across the border of Laos & Thailand (I think)while the General's army shoots them. Thanks in advance.
