Upstairs Downstairs isn't a movie, but series with several seasons.
It does have some black and white episodes in the first season.
It's about the rich family upstairs, and their life and problems, and about the servants downstairs and their life and problems.
I can't remember the master 'visiting' the servants.
The rich son did have an affair with one of the maids, but they met in another house and really loved each other.
So I don't know if this series is what you are looking for.
