Ok, so, you'd NEVER FORGET the theme music.. something about cooking.. I thought it was Julie Christie, but no.
A married woman takes in a drifter and begins an affair with him.. It's British I believe, based in the 40s or so. Her daughter then begins an affair with him as well. They hide it all frm the woman's husband.
Ends up that, I think, it was the drifter killed the woman.. I think both women die.
It's quite a peculiar movie.. weird, but, fascinating to me.
