I can't remember the name of an English period drama (or tv show) starring a brown-haired actor in his forties/fifties who has a mustache.
I remember very little about the series, only that it was not filmed recently. I would say it was filmed (not set) in the 1980s or early 1990s but it could be even before that.
It was quite a romantic show with a strong focus on the romance between the hero and his lady.
The way I remember it, it is a comedy. Just a very light story in the English countryside, with upper-class people. It has a vintage feel to it.
