I can't remember the name of the movie or all the particulars, but I want to see it again. It is a black and white set in England. A young lady falls in love with a man who her father doesn't like. The father tells this lady that the man she is in love with doesn't love her and is only after her money. I think I remember her father saying she was not attractive enough for men to really love her. I think the man had a sister. The father eventually dies but for some reason the lady never marries the man. The last thing I remember is the man ringing her door bell or knocking loudly and wanting her to open it and she does not. It was kind of sad at the end.
