Title Help

Looking for a movie that I saw on TV in the late 60's, it was about a news reporter, or I think that had a deadline. I know he was always trying to make it. I cannot remember if someone had been killed or what. I don't know why the title is sticking with me "Chicago Deadline." I have not been able to find this movie under that title. You always seen the man using the phone in a phone booth.
