I've been trying to find this title for ages I saw it a long time ago on PBS Masterpiece I believe but I can't find it on their list. It was a period drama about this English girl in the countryside who is hired by this rich elderly lady, who I think was blind, to whistle for her birds and take care of them. However, the rich old lady had a grandson or someone who began to become attached to the girl despite her efforts to dissuade him and I think in the end he rapes her and she ends up leaving. Then later despite the fact that she moved away she runs into him again and now he's a clergyman but he sees her and follows her and I think tries to rape her again. But for the life of me I can't remember if she gets away or how the story ends. I would love if someone could tell me what this was! Thank you so much!
