I saw a movie in the 1950s that was so romantic and sad. A young girl and a man become good friends. She asks for him to wait for her to grow up because she wants to marry him. He waits, probably 10 years. Just as they are about to meet again she has an accident. The scene of the two of them together as she is dying made such an impression on me as a child. Does anyone know this movie?
