It's an American black and white drama from the 60s, maybe late 50s.
A young American man is killed in Spain. I have only blurred memories of some scenes:
- rich, blonde girls are lying in a sandy private beach, poor local lads are watching them from over the fence;
- the young American (who is, as far as I remember, homosexual) on a hot day goes to the village, the villagers become more and more hostile; he is fleeing to a hill (a calvary hill with a cross) where the villagers finally kill him;
- I think he is from a rich Southern family and his mother hires a PI to find out the reasons and circumstances of death.
