I watched the film in late 80's or early 90's. It's about a girl who goes out to a boat to service men sexually, she gets beat and used etc.. her boyfriend is very sick and he tells her to continue to service the men and tell him about it and he will get better. She continues to go out to this boat, gets beat, has sex etc... she eventually dies and he gets better. Movie seemed to take place in an small old town, perhaps in Ireland or somewhere.
