I'm looking for a tv movie or maybe a mini-series I saw maybe 10-15 years ago (but it might have been made long before then)I saw it in school so it might been made to be purely educational
Its set in Victorian England and follows the life of a girl from when she was in school. I think she may have gone on to working in a match factory or cotton mill( this may not have happened- I might have it confused with another film) but then she definitely went onto being a domestic servant and then somehow a photographer or photographers assistant. There was also a girl who played the general bully who kept cropping up. she wrongly accused the main character of stealing something at one point. I think the bully ends up living on the streets at the end of the film
