Watched this movie 20years+ ago, Victorian setting, small castle building with a moat, lots of fog, dad is remarrying, there is a daughter(?) who is very vary of the new 'wife' , there is a ghost of the first wife around, and the last clue-a massive ring- is found in a hidden door behind a painting in a bedroom.
