I guess I'll try asking again...I've been searching for a movie that I think only starts in black and white. There are two children a boy and a girl at the beginning and they are friends. One is taken away or moved away for some reason (I think it was the girl). Then the movie forwards to a business where the guy is now working as an adult. That is all that I saw of the movie. It was either on AMC or TCM. Also I remember there being a big dark tree in the black and white beginning portion of the movie? Any thoughts?
