I'm looking for a black and white movie set around the 1950's about a girl and her father pretending to be a couple so that they can scam the hotel staff and residents into giving the girl money after her "husband" takes all her money and leaves. I only remember the first half because that's all I've seen. I do know that the girl takes interest in one of the residents. She doesn't want a type of lifestyle where she has to steal and would rather settle down and have a normal life.
