I am almost positive that I saw a movie that starred Phyllis Diller, but my friends say that she would never have been given such a serious role. Anyway, the plot is that a man is married to an all-time shrew of a woman,(Phyllis Diller) and she nags him unmercifully. He is an accountant,or bookkeeper, something like that. He finally takes all he can stand and kills her. I believe he is executed for it, but whatever way he dies, he wakes up on the shore of a beautiful lake, which turns out to be the "Hereafter," and the story continues with his experiences there. I would like to see this movie again, not just to prove that Phyllis Diller was in it, but because I thought it was a very interesting and thought-provoking storyline.
