Plot a young women maybe French meets and falls in love with a young american soldier. They get married and he gets hurt and she thinks he died in an explosion little did he know she was pregnant like 3 years later she gos to visit his family in america and she finds out he did not die and is living in a rehab hospital. I think he lost his leg or eye site and they are reunited. I saw the movie in the 90's or early 2000. The movie was set in the French war or wwii or Germany
