A period serial, British, early WWI; young lady moves to rich-stodgy uncle's manor. Two cousins, one of which she's expected to marry: outgoing arrogant future cavalry officer vs the introspective future RAF pilot. Uncle is crippled, treats servants as invisible or unworthy. She takes very much to foxhunting. Cavalry officer cousin is captured by Germans but presumed dead; pilot cousin who she preferred is killed. She inherits estate I believe, and marries stablehand. From around 1980 on PBS, I believe.
