I would like to find British series about a bride who goes out to marry a man she doesn't know stationed in India. He is emotionally stunted and leaves for long periods of time. She has anaffair with a Japanese man, conceives a child and when she is thrown out by her husband, goes to Japan under the protection of her lover. He later betrays her by taking her child away from her.
