I am looking for a period movie where a woman falls in love with a man she thinks is a poor painter, but in reality he is rich. When he takes her to meet his family, she thinks that the caretakers small cottage is his house, but when the gates open it's actually an immense palace-like house. I think the guy dies at the end since he is sick and she has his child. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
