Title Help

I watched an old black & white many years ago and it had this one scene that stuck out. I'll set it up with what I recall. There was a young woman who could not support herself, seems she was alone/orphaned? She was sent to live with this family that had annoying unruly children to be a nanny…she pleaded with them not to send her… the house was a pig pen. She was called on to the room of a womanizing, bed ridden old man who was as filthy as could be….the line that sticks out to me was when he asked this young woman for a kiss and he puckered up his toothless, sticky, slimy mouth and said, " Give old Pip a kiss". Now, I keep thinking this was a Dickens movie but I am probably wrong. Can anyone help?
