A film with Gary cooper (I'm not sure about actor) who stars In black and white film about a simple man who he and his kin live in the country. He lives a young girl and wants to marry her but first wants to buy a piece if land. He works odd jobs trying to earn money. And, in the mean time he is drafted ( not sure) into the military to fight in a war I think. Ultimately, when he returns home he has the property he wanted to buy and is reunited with the girl.
