Title Help

I am looking for the name of a 1940's early 50's movie that was a light thriller about an advertisement for a live in care giver to and elderly wheel chair bound woman. She lived in a far out Englandish house-dark settings and she had a cook and a handy man who were trying to kill her off for her money. The woman that came out in answer to the advertisement I thought was Suzanne Pleshette. There also were two aloof old ladies that either played sisters or friends but I think they were sisters. Thay talked in high voices and one was always smarter than the other although they were both bonkers. In the end the old lady dies and the care giver hides the body and tells everyone that she went on a trip to care for a sick relative. I don't know if it was Dame Mae Witty, anyway can you help me out?
