can anyone tell me the name of a movie that i remember watching years ago. it was about a young girl who was not able to walk,talk and some believed she didn't understand anything. she was an older girl but little like a child. she was in an orphanage or hospital. a nurse tried to suffacate her and she could not tell anyone, cause she could not speak or make a sound. a new nurse starts taken care of her and falls in love with her and teaches her to comunicate by holding her arm and pointing out to the words on a board. the nurse wants to adopt her and the judge ask her to prove to him that the girl understands what is said to her. it was based on a true story.
