My daughter and I watched this movie like 15 years ago . very sad. A baby was sent to live in a convent and she grew up very attached to a tree in the back yard. later when she was very old, she donated the tree to fulfill its destiny and become the central Christmas tree for some city. The details are vague and I would love to see this with her again. there was some detail about inappropriateness with a priest and the babys mother and thats how the convent got her.
