Article Competition
Send us your period-drama–related article for a chance of winning an Amazon gift card/certificate worth USD 15 or the equivalent in your chosen currency! Furthermore, all submitted articles will be considered for publication on this website.
Entry Procedure
Please email us your article or essay by June 1st 2009. It can be about anything related to period drama movies or TV shows. Comparisons between films and the novels on which they were based are also welcome. The article can be as short as you like, but should be no longer than 1500 words.
All articles received will be considered for publication in our Articles section. Note that your name will be displayed next to your article; if you'd prefer to remain totally anonymous, please provide us with an alias or nickname.
Multiple entries per person are welcome, each of which will be judged individually.
The Winner
Our panel of judges will read all of the submissions and decide on a winner by June 15th 2009.
The winner will be notified by email and requested to choose whether they would like a certificate for Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.de, Amazon.fr, Amazon.co.jp, or Amazon.ca. All certificates will be of equal value, based on the exchange rate at the close of the competition. The certificate will then be emailed to the winner.
The winner's name or nickname (with a link to their article in the Articles section) will be displayed here as soon as they have received their prize.
